Industry Dive Adds New Chief Operating Officer, PR Manager

Two media industry veterans have joined Industry Dive as the company continues to quickly grow into one of the leading sources of business journalism. These new positions will help Industry Dives expansion plans and promote its award-winning coverage.

  • Meg Hargreaves has joined Industry Dive as chief operating officer. A 30-year veteran of the publishing and media space, Hargreaves has worked for some of the largest business-to-business information companies in the industry. She founded Rush River Media, a consultancy serving the information industry, after nearly 10 years at CQ Roll Call, where she was part of the team that managed the sale and transition from The Economist Group to FiscalNote. She is the current chair of the Software & Information Industry Association board of directors and a past president of the Specialized Information Publishers Association board of directors.

  • Suzanne Struglinski has joined Industry Dive as public relations manager. During Struglinskis two-decade career in Washington she has crafted impactful communications strategies in addition to working as a journalist. She most recently worked as a media relations manager at the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and director of membership engagement at the National Press Club. She previously covered Congress for the Deseret News and the Las Vegas Sun. She is a member of Washington Women in Public Relations and a past president of the Regional Reporters Association.
"With a strong track record of year-over-year growth and a clear vision for our future, we knew it was time to add these unique skill sets to bring us to the next level," said Sean Griffey, co-founder and CEO of Industry Dive. "Our newsroom ambitions have never been higher. As we add more publications to cover rapidly changing industries, Meg and Suzanne's ideas and energy are a welcome addition to the team."

"We are building the newsroom of the future and these roles will elevate and amplify the influential work our journalists produce every day," said Davide Savenije, editor-in-chief at Industry Dive. "As we bring in more top editorial talent, we need industry experts like this to move us through our next phase and beyond."
