COO Hargreaves named to DCA Live “Power Women of DC Tech” list.
DCA Live has named Industry Dive Chief Operating Officer Meg Hargreaves to the Power Women of DC Tech list it relaunched on Oct. 12.
The list of 40 women celebrates those “who are emerging powerhouses or flying under the radar in the DC- area tech community,” according to DCA Live, a Washington, DC business community group.
Hargreaves joined Industry Dive as COO in March 2020 and has since led integration efforts around the company’s five recent acquisitions. In addition to her M&A role, Hargreaves oversees Dive’s Advertising Operations and Revenue Operations teams.
A 30-year veteran of the publishing and media space, Hargreaves has worked for some of the largest business-to-business information companies in the industry.
She spent nearly 10 years at CQ Roll Call, where she was part of the team that managed the sale and transition from The Economist Group to FiscalNote. She is the immediate past chair of the Software & Information Industry Association board of directors and a past president of the Specialized Information Publishers Association board of directors.
DCA Live previously named Industry Dive as “Still Scorching” on the 2021 Red Hot Companies List - an annual collection of “the Washington, DC region’s fastest-growing and most exciting companies.” Industry Dive first made the list in 2018 and received recognition again in 2020
In 2020, DCA Live also named Industry Dive’s Vice President of Marketing Robin Re to the “2020 Star CMOs” list.
Hargreaves and the other Power Women of DC Tech, will be recognized at a DCA Live event on Nov. 2.
