Industry Dive donates $6K to employee selected organizations

After a successful first quarter in 2022, Industry Dive donated $6,000 to charities that provide relief to the people of Ukraine, as well as raise awareness about Multiple Sclerosis.

Since 2016, the quarterly “Dive Gives” program allows anyone from across the company to recommend a 501(c)(3) organization to support at the end of each quarter. Of the proposed groups, employees vote on which should get a donation and top two organizations receive $2,000 each from the company.  For last quarter, the company decided to extend its donations and offered an $1K additional donation to the recommended charities.

Dive Gives will support:

Save the Children Ukraine Crisis Relief 

‍Save the Children Ukraine Crisis Relief has helped children in Ukraine since 2014. Now more than 3.7 million people have fled the violence in Ukraine, the majority of whom are women and children. Children on the move are at risk of hunger, illness, trafficking and abuse. The children's Emergency Fund will help provide children and families at risk in Ukraine and around the world with immediate aid, such as food, water, hygiene kits, psychosocial support and cash assistance. Industry Dive donated $2,000 to this group based on employee voting. 

National Multiple Sclerosis Society

‍Walk MS brings together passionate people from communities across the country to change the world for people affected by multiple sclerosis. Together, it drives progress to achieve the vision of a world free of MS. To date, Walk MS participants, volunteers and donors have raised over $1 billion to stop MS in its tracks, restore what’s been lost and end MS forever.  Industry Dive donated $2,000 to this group as a result of the outcome of the vote. 

World Central Kitchen

The World Central Kitchen provides food security to those displaced by the fighting in Ukraine. Founded by D.C.'s José Andrés, WCK provides rapid response to crises of all kinds. "When people are hungry, send in cooks. Not tomorrow, today.” This organization was part of a dual-pitch and will receive $1,000 from Industry Dive.

Nova Ukraine

Nova Ukraine is dedicated to providing humanitarian aid to the people of Ukraine and raising awareness about Ukraine in the United States and around the world. The donations fund a variety of efforts to help the people of Ukraine and to strengthen Ukraine’s civil society. This organization also received $1,000.
