Industry Dive LinkedIn Group Recognized as one of Platform’s “Most Engaging”
Industry Dive’s commitment to understanding our audiences was recognized by LinkedIn this month. Our Logistics and Supply Chain professionals group is now one of the most engaging groups on the platform and part of LinkedIn’s Inner Circle of groups.
Industry Dive owns and operates more than 35 LinkedIn groups that serve more than three million professionals across banking/finance, HR, marketing, retail, supply chain, and other industries. Group members connect with each other as well as post articles, opinions and discussion on key topics they face.
Maniur Rahman, Industry Dive’s community coordinator, has worked to revitalize the groups since he came aboard in August.
Rahman, who works on Industry Dive’s Dhaka, Bangladesh-based team, assessed each group, created clear community guidelines and only accepted group membership requests from professionals in relevant roles matching the group’s industry.
“We weren’t going after the numbers here - we want quality people to join our groups,” Rahman said.
He began posting relevant Industry Dive publication articles and questions to start discussions and encourage interactions among the members. Rahman tracks each group’s posting habits and what resonates with its members as each audience has different needs.
With so many issues facing supply chain professionals right now, Rahman focused a lot of early moderation efforts on this group, which resulted in the high engagement rate that earned the LinkedIn recognition. Now that the group is in the Inner Circle, content posted may appear in more news feeds - which can encourage more participation.
Industry Dive will continue to manage and optimize its growing community of professionals looking to connect within its 20+ dynamic industries.
