Industry Dive named 2022 Top Washington-area workplace by the Washington Post

The Washington Post’s 2022 Top Workplaces in the Washington, D.C. area ranks Industry Dive as #24 in the area’s midsize companies.

The Washington Post previously recognized Industry Dive as a top workplace in 2020 (#26 of midsize companies), 2019 (#31 of small companies), 2018 (#31 of small companies), and when it first entered in 2017 (#5 of small companies). The company did not apply for recognition in the 2021 contest.

“As we’ve doubled in size while working remotely since March 2020, we’ve worked hard to maintain our culture of collaboration, transparency and camaraderie,” said Wendy McWhorter, Industry Dive’s vice president of talent acquisition and engagement. “Routinely checking in with the team, implementing employee-suggested changes and keeping the staff engaged helps us earn this recognition.”

The Washington Post selects the top workplaces based solely on employee feedback gathered through an anonymous third-party survey administered by research partner Energage, LLC. Earlier this year, Industry Dive employees answered questions that measured several aspects of workplace culture, including alignment, execution, and connection.

“The Post’s Top Workplaces list is now in its ninth year and continues to highlight the companies in the Washington-area that employees deem to be leaders in company satisfaction and engagement,” said Washington Post Top Workplaces editor Dion Haynes. “Each year, the leaders at these companies are commended for their leadership and collegiality, qualities which have increased in importance to employees with the last few years of heightened transition and change.”
