Packaging Dive to bring news coverage, audience insight to $185 billion industry
Industry Dive will bring its signature business journalism to executives and decision-makers in the packaging industry with Packaging Dive, slated to hit email inboxes on March 27. Interested readers can now sign up to be among the first subscribers to track news and discover trends of this growing market.
Journalist Cole Rosengren, who has worked on Waste Dive since 2016, will serve as Packaging Dive’s lead editor, bringing his expertise and understanding of the business behind recycling systems, waste collection and sustainability to a new audience. Packaging Dive Editor Maria Rachal and Reporter Katie Pyzyk will cover the industry by tracking regulations, M&A, ESG investments, commodity trends and other news.
“Whether faced with growing e-commerce demand or regulatory changes, the packaging sector is being pushed to innovate beyond the box,” Rosengren said. “We are eager to deliver original reporting and analysis covering the different layers of the growing packaging industry to help executives develop strategies around sustainability, sourcing, design, manufacturing and technology.”
Packaging Dive will look at paper, plastics, metals, glass and other materials used to contain and deliver products around the world for industries, including food and beverage, and medical, among others. The U.S. packaging market is expected to grow as consumers demand more sustainable containers and brands want to leverage smart packaging that uses technology to enhance the buyer experience.
