Static and dynamic content editing

A rich text element can be used with static or dynamic content. For static content, just drop it into any page and begin editing. For dynamic content, add a rich text field to any collection and then connect a rich text element to that field in the settings panel. Voila!

How to customize formatting for each rich text

Headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, figures, images, and figure captions can all be styled after a class is added to the rich text element using the "When inside of" nested selector system.

Promoted Story

An article written by you, appearing within the flow of stories for the day. This package is a great opportunity to position your company as a thought leader around relevant topics. Our audience tends to favor articles that are more editorial in nature, and often clients repurpose content such as blog posts or summaries of case studies or white papers (See more content guidelines below). Each article comes with bonus, roadblocked web display alongside your story. Use these to promote something different than the article; most clients choose to promote a white paper, event, service, product, webinar, etc.

Content Guidelines

At Industry Dive, our goal is to be a business executive's trusted daily news source. In order to maintain and grow this trusted relationship we have with our audience, we must hold our advertorial content to standards that reflect our editorial goals and vision.

Promoted stories should be informative and relevant to the publication’s day-to-day editorial coverage. We cannot allow articles that are overly self-promotional of a client’s product or service. Here are some strong examples to emulate:

Story

  • Title and copy for story - recommended 500-750 words, with all applicable links (please indicate any special text formatting to be included)
  • Story teaser text (100 characters or less)
  • Header image (1040x616 or larger)
  • ~Must provide image source and photographer name
  • ~Image should be editorial in nature and contain no logos or headlines

Your Company Logo

  • 300x300 minimum, square dimensions mandatory
  • GIF, JPG, PNG format

Leaderboard Ad

  • Dimensions: 970x90
  • Image served by 3rd party tag or provided as a file
  • File Type: GIF, JPG or PNG (100kb max file size)
  • Landing page URL or click tag
  • Animation is allowed, sound is not
  • Animation length: No longer than 15 seconds
  • Max loops: 3 ‍
